Attempted Rape
Waynesboro Police have charged a 19 year old city man with Breaking and Entering and Attempted Rape in reference to an incident that was reported to them last night 09/21/07at approximately 11:30 P.M. Officers responded to a call in the south eastern portion of the city reporting that a subject had forced his way into the apartment of a 21 year old female and attempted to rape her. After investigating the incident and locating the suspect, Officers arrested Otis Sterling Maxey of 318 Market Ave. and took him before a magistrate where warrants were issued for Breaking and Entering and Attempted Rape. He was held without Bond.
