Vandalized Headstones - January 15

The Staunton Police Department is seeking assistance identifying the persons
responsible for vandalizing numerous headstones in Thornrose Cemetery. Between 2:30
p.m. on Thursday January 10 and 7:15 a.m. on Friday January 11, unknown suspects
damaged more than 20 headstones, resulting in more than $60,000 damage.

Anyone with information regarding the identities of the suspects or any information regarding this crime is encouraged to contact the Staunton Police Department at 332-3842 or the Central Shenandoah Crime Stoppers at 1-800-322-2017. A reward of $2,000 is being offered to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for committing this offense.
