Friday 25,2008- 5 am 7-Eleven store on Ivy Street, Waynesboro. Friday morning two robbers entered the 7_Eleven store on Ivy. One robber fired a shot into the floor,then took money from customers that were in the store while the other robber grabbed money from the cash register.
The robbers left in a white Dodge Caravan and drove two blocks. Police found the abandoned van on Loudoun Avenue.
The Waynesboro police believe the suspects fled on foot into the Wayne Hills neighborhood. That is where they were focusing their search this morning. They had help from Augusta County deputies and a Staunton K-9 unit.
The suspects are described as a tall black male wearing a Halloween mask and a Hispanic male wearing a white mask or bandanna.
No one was injured in the incident.
