Special Meeting - January 30

Staunton Mayor Lacy B. King Jr. has called a special meeting of the
Staunton City Council for 6 p.m. Thursday, January 31. The meeting will
be held in the Caucus Room on the first floor of Staunton City Hall at
116 West Beverley Street.

The meeting has been called to receive and discuss the advice of legal
counsel regarding recent decisions of the Board of Zoning Appeals. The
meeting will initially be closed to the public pursuant to Section
2.2-3711(A)(7) of the Code of Virginia. It is anticipated that the Council
will convene in open session in the adjacent Council Chambers
following the closed meeting and may take action regarding the recent decisions
of the Board of Zoning Appeals.
