Friday 16, 2007 – 9:00 am An undefined man entered Waynesboro High School acting erratic and was quickly identified as not being a student by school officials. The suspect was apprehended by the school resource officer Walter Wallace, the man was apprehended Main St. and Locust Ave. The suspect is not the same as the one that caused a lock down of the school a couple of days a go. Assistant principal Tom Higginbotham sad “no one was in danger and the school did not go under lock down.” The man appeared intoxicated and was acting very erratic. The suspect was taken to Augusta Medical Center for a mental evaluation. Trespassing and intoxicated in public charges are pending depending on the mental health evaluation. Waynesboro police department is also not realising the man’s name pending the testes.
