Tuesday Feb. 6, 2007 – 5:15pm Waynesboro police received a call about a robbery at EZ Mart on North Delphine and 4th St. The clerk reported that a man had come into the store claiming to have a gun, then demanded money. The robber then fled north on 340 while being followed by a citizen, who gave the police updates as to where the robber was. Police got Thomas Leath of Stony Creek stopped in Harriston. After searching Mr. Leath’s mini van officers were unable to find a firearm. Mr. Leath appeared to be intoxicated and is being charged with robbery.
