Saturday Feb. 17, 2007 – 4:00 pm A SUV rear ended a car at the intersection of 340 and 608 in Stuarts Draft. After the SUV hit the back of the car it then slammed into the poll which held up stoplights for the intersection. The accident knocked out the stoplights at the intersection for several hours. The driver of the SUV was charged with reckless driving. One person was taken to Augusta Medical Center for minor injuries.
