Tuesday 5, 2007 - A Hispanic Man is wonted by police to day after he escape while he was in handcuffs. The man was pulled over for speeding near the 100 mile marker on I-64 on Afton Mountain, around 7:00 a.m. The driver had no license on him and a State trooper put him under arrest. As the officers followed protocol and searched the driver's car the driver managed to escape.
Police are searching for 24-year-old Salvador Sanchez and have released the following description:
- Last seen wearing a black hat, black t-shirt, and handcuffs.
- Height: 5-foot-8
- Weight: Approximately 140 pounds.
Police are using a helicopter and K-9's to track him down. If you see him, call your local police.
