Staunton Mayor Lacy King has called a special meeting of the Staunton City Council for 7 p.m. Monday, May 7, in Staunton City Council Chambers. Council Chambers is on the first floor of Staunton City Hall, 116 West Beverley Street.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss Staunton’s proposed 2008 budget, to establish a tax rate, and to adopt a 2008 city budget.
The next regular meeting of the Staunton City Council will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 10.
