100 + Mile Per Hower Car Chase In Staunton - May 9

Wednesday 3:50 am A state trooper attempted to pull over a 2005 Acura after it went throw a red light on Lee Jackson Hw. Near the Colonial mall. The car then sped to over 100 + mph turning on to Rt. 262 then on to Springhill Rd. The driver then lost control of the car hitting a fire hydrant and mail boxes on the 1800 block of Springhill Rd.. The driver was unhurt in the wreck and was arrested. The driver was not drinking.
