SUBJECT: Press Release of Major Main Line Break on West End of Waynesboro

The City of Waynesboro is alerting citizens that a major water main line break on the west end of the city is currently under repair and should be completed within 24 hours. During the process of repairing the break, residents west of Stonewall Drive on Rt. 250, including Stratford Farms, Virginia Village, Evershire, Hopeman Station, Iris Drive, Ana Marie Estates, Windigrove Drive and areas along Rosser Avenue southwest of Northgate Avenue may experience low water pressure and/or volume and discoloration in their water. To clear discoloration from water, please run the outside faucet until cleared. Water conservation may be advisable during this period of repair.
