The investigation into the fire which heavily damaged an apartment building located at 1087 14th street yesterday, is continuing.
The fire appears to have originated on the second level in the area of the porch and stairs and has been determined suspicious with several indicators pointing to Arson. Investigators from the Waynesboro Police Department assisted by the Virginia State Police are still on the scene collecting evidence and taking samples which will be forwarded to the state forensics lab.
