Hit and Run / Felony DUI
Waynesboro Police have charged a city resident with 3rd offense DUI (felony), Felony Hit and Run and Driving while License Suspended as a result of traffic Crash that occurred at approximately 12:47 A.M. on April 21, 2007.
A vehicle operated by Eduardo Servin – Navarette, 33, was traveling South on N. Charlotte Ave. when he lost control and crashed into the railroad underpass in the 300 block.
Servin – Navarette fled the scene on foot leaving a visibly injured passenger in the vehicle. He was later apprehended in the area of N. Bayard Ave and Identified by witnesses who were at the scene. Mr. Servin - Navarette was transported to the Police Department and subsequently held without bond on the charges at Middle River Regional Jail.
The injured passenger who is identified as Demetio Guiterez – Castillo, 43 was transported by Rescue Squad to AMC.
