August 4, 2007 - 2:47pm Rt. 11 Verona, Jason Jones traveling north, swerved to miss a nether vehicle that had slowed to turn into a apartment complex. Jones then stuck a telephone pole knocking it down.The live electrical wires were in the trees sparking but did not cause any sustainable fire. As of 6pm the electrical company was rerouting power so that the residents of the near by apartments could have power. The pole is being replaced and will take several hours. There where no injuries and Jones was charged with wreckless driving.
