ROOM 104, CHARLES T. YANCEY MUNICIPAL BUILDING,

503 WEST MAIN STREET, WAYNESBORO, VIRGINIA.

1. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance.

2. Consent Agenda. (Any item placed on the consent agenda shall be removed and considered as a separate matter, if so requested by any member of Council. Otherwise, all items will be voted on with one (1) motion.)

A. Consider the adoption of a resolution for a Legislative Body Relating to a Money Purchase Plan.

3. Planning Matters.

A. Hold a Joint Public Hearing on the request of Brasil W. Hamrick, agent, for Scott J. Hudson, owner, for preliminary subdivision plat approval to subdivide a 2.571-acre tract located on the south side of White Bridge Road at its intersection with Guilford Lane in order to create a proposed 16-lot residential development. The subject property is known by City Tax Map #24-1 -Dl, #24-3-20B & 24-1-B.

B. Hold a Joint Public Hearing on the request of Brasil W. Hamrick, agent for Scott J. Hudson, owner, for a conditional use permit to allow a six-unit townhouse building (shown as Lots 11-16 on the New Townhouse Development preliminary plat) to be relieved from the requirement of City Code Section 98-138 which stipulates that all residential units must have public street frontage. This request is made in connection with the proposed 2.571-acre, 16-lot subdivision. The subject property is located on the south side of White Bridge Road at its intersection with Guilford Lane and is known by City Tax Map #24-1-D1, #24-3-20B & #24-1-B.

4. Receive a report from Dr. Robin Crowder, Superintendent of Waynesboro Public Schools and a presentation by Mr. Doug Norcross, School Board Chairman, concerning the Kate Collins Middle School Renovation Project.

5. Consider a Resolution adopting the Charter of the Central Shenandoah Criminal

Justice Training Academy and approving the membership of the City Sheriffs

Office, the Waynesboro Police Department, and the Department of Emergency

Management in the Academy.

6. Consider an ordinance to increase tipping fees at the Augusta County Regional Landfill.

7. Consider adoption of a Dog Exercise Area Master Plan and renewed adoption of an Ordinance Establishing Dog Exercise Areas to reflect adoption of the Dog Exercise Area Master Plan.

8. Consider a request from Pastor Shirley Spruell, Church of God of Prophecy, 1532 Second Street, for amplified music and the closure of one block of Second Street, for a Community Blessing Outreach to be held on September 8, 2007 from 12 PM to 9 PM.

9. Receive a report from the City Attorney and City Manager concerning the process for petitioning the Circuit Court for a referendum(a) concerning certain Capital Improvement Projects.
