NEWS RELEASE
The Staunton Police Department received a 911 call from a pay phone on West Beverley Street at approximately 12:51 p.m. on August 23, 2007. The caller communicated a bomb threat to Robert E. Lee High School. An officer on patrol in the area of West Beverley Street located the suspect who was subsequently taken into custody.
Thomas Drake Pyron, 18, of 1035 Main Street, Apt. 2B, Danville, Virginia was charged with communicating a bomb threat and is currently being held at Middle River Regional Jail.
