August 16 2007 - 100.1 on 64 E bound 10:59 am, Marie E. Lopez-Vega 29, of Waynesboro was fatly injured when her 91 Ford Explore over turned. The accident was caused by when tread separated from a tire. Lopez-Vega then lost control of the SUV, hitting a guard real flipping the Explore throwing Lopez-Vega out of the SUV. She was not wearing a seat belt, and died at the seen.
