Officials Prepare For School Shooting By Practicing - June 7

Thursday 7, 2007 – 8:30 am Fort Defiance High School officials set up a school shooting exercise to test Augusta County’s response to a simulated threat. To add realism, student volunteers where used and fake injuries where applied there where even simulated gun fire in the school. The rescue cruse practiced treating the fake wounds, a helicopter was called in to take a simulated patient to the hospital.
