Pedestrian Injured in Crash

Waynesboro Police responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash in the 200 block of N. Charlotte Ave. at around 8:30 P.M. last night.

The incident occurred as a 25 year old Staunton man ran from between parked vehicles on the west side of N. Charlotte into the path of a northbound 1991 Honda 4dr, driven by a 23 year old Waynesboro man. The Honda then struck the pedestrian causing visible injuries which caused him to be transported to AMC and later transferred via air to UVA.

No Charges will be placed in the incident.
