There was a brush fire on Mt.
Torrey Road Tuesday evening at
approximately 5:15. The fire burned
approximately 1/4 acre. It started
along Mt. Torrey Road and the cause is
still being investigated by The
Virgina Department of Forestry.
Wilson Fire Dept., Dooms Fire Dept.,
and Virginia Dept. of Forestry responded to the fire.
Rodger Moyers of the Virginia Department of Forestry
encourages everyone to be careful with
all open air burning due to the dry conditions.
