Waynesboro Police Department Asking for Help - October 9

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The Waynesboro Police Department is investigating the theft of a moped which occurred on September 18, 2007 at approximately 6:30 pm, in the 600 block Ivanhoe Ave. Police were contacted by a citizen who observed two men loading a cream & black, 2005 Yamaha Scooter into the back of a light blue extended cab Chevrolet pickup. Upon arrival officers found the suspects had left with the vehicle heading toward the county/Calf Mountain Road Area. No description of the suspects is available for release at this time.
