Reserve Awards
On December 2, 2007 the Waynesboro Police Reserves held their annual dinner and awards presentation at South River Grill in Waynesboro. The Reserve Component holds this function annually to recognize those members who contribute in a major way to the mission of the organization which is to support the operations of the Waynesboro Police Department.
This year the Reserves chose Reserve Sgt. Cory Fox, a 13 year veteran, as Officer of the Year. This is the second time that Cory, a Maintenance Supervisor at McKee Foods, has been honored as officer of the year and he was also awarded a certificate for exceeding 3,000 hours of Cumulative volunteer service to the organization during his career.
