Tommy Moore Charged With, Abduction And Gun Charges - May 10

Thursday 10, 2007 - Wednesday evening a domestic dispute resulted in abduction and gun charges being lodged against Tommy Moore, 51, of Weyers Cave who was armed when sheriff’s deputies arrived at his home. Moore is charged with abduction, reckless handling of a firearm, domestic assault and drunk in public.

Moore reportedly argued with his 48-year-old wife and placed her in the backyard behind locked gates. His wife escaped and went to a neighbor’s house and called 911. When authorities arrived at the home on Harper Street Moore was sitting in a chair in the backyard holding a revolver. After being ordered to drop the weapon, Moore was arrested. Moore is being held at the Middle River Regional Jail in Verona.
