Staunton Police
January 15, 2008
On 1-14-08 the Staunton Police Department responded to 2700 Hanover Street,
Apartment #3, for a reported stabbing. The victim, Judith Dumas, 50, had been stabbed
multiple times and was transported by the Staunton Augusta Rescue Squad and subsequently air-lifted to the University of Virginia Medical Center.
David Ricky Christian Sr. 53, of 2700 Hanover Street Apt. 3, was arrested January 15, and charged with one count of Malicious Wounding. He was Incarcerated at the Middle River Regional Jail without bond.

Tuesday 15, 2008 - Staunton David Christian Senior was arrested after he was found this morning hiding behind a barn in Augusta County. Christian was in the car belonging to the victim Judith Dumas. He was intoxicated when they arrested him. The victim, Judith Dumas, was lying on the kitchen floor when she was found by officers. Dumas had been stabbed multiple times in her abdomen, arm. Judith Dumas, is in stable condition at this time.
