Sunday Feb. 11, 2007 – 3:45 pm a car was fully in flames on I-64 West bound. The driver had seen smoke coming from the engine compartment and pull over close to the 99 exit. There where no injuries at the seen. The cause of the fire is under instigation.

Fier On Aero Drive - Feb. 5, 2007

Monday Feb. 5, 2007- Between 7:30pm and 7:45 firefighters where called out to Aero Drive near the air port in Waynesboro. No one was home at the time of the fire, the owners where a way and when they came home found there house all ready on fire. They then called 9-1-1. The fire cruse had to not only to contend with the fire, but a tempter that where hovering around zero. Water on the driveway froze in a long sheet of ice. The ice also coated the firefighters. Friday Feb. 2, 2007- About 3:15 am fire fighters where called out to a cabin on Vel-Mar Ln. Chief Mays was the first one on the scene “it was a ball of fire” he said. No one was home at the time of the fire and there where no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Update: Clothing was found around the fire place which may have been the cause of the fire. The fire had burned out the floor around the fireplace where the clothing had been found. Total loss are estimated at 50.000 dollars in damages. Owner of the cabin John H. White was dues have insurance on the cabin where his son was living

Trailer Fire In Verona - Jan. 27, 2007

Saturday Jan. 27, 2007: About 4 am a fire destroyed a trailer on Meade Park Cir. Verona.
The cause of the fire is as of yet unknown. Two people on the scene were being treated for injuries. When fire crews were first called to the scene they had word that there might be someone still in the trailer, but as of this time they are unsure.

Update: There where three people in the trailer at the time of the fire. Two of the people made it out with unknown injuries while the third was killed. The fire had also spread to two other trailers where the residents were able to escape without harm.
