Friday Jan. 26, 2007 at
9 pm: A GMC mini van with a driver and a passenger traveling on
Cold Springs Rd. overturned ejecting the passenger who was not wearing a seat belt at the time. According to Trooper S.A Simmons of the Virginia State Police, the van had taken a turn too fast and the driver lost control. The driver was taken by ambulance to
Augusta Medical Center. The passenger was flown by helicopter to UVA.
