Sunday 13, 2007 – 4:00 pm Afton Mountain a fire that it’s smoke could bee seen in Waynesboro. Firefighters had to gain access to the fire with ATVs and clime steep ridges to get where the fire was and used rakes and leaf blowers to make a barrier to get the fire contained. One Firefighter was injured when his foot got caught in some rocks and twisted his ankle, he was taken to the hospital for treatment. The fire was possibly caused by natural forces.
